Anambra APC Governorship Aspirant Withdraws from Race
Chukwuma Umeoji, a governorship aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Anambra State, has officially withdrawn from the party’s upcoming primary election. The development was confirmed on Friday by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, who stated that Umeoji’s decision followed extensive consultations with his supporters across the state.
The party acknowledged Umeoji’s commitment and expressed appreciation for his contributions to the APC, noting hope that he will continue to support efforts aimed at securing victory in the November 8 gubernatorial election.
Umeoji’s exit from the race comes just a day before the much-anticipated primary election, which has drawn significant attention within Anambra. The APC is expected to announce its flagbearer shortly after the primaries.
