JUST IN: AA Clinches Etche Chairmanship as Hon. Uzodinma Nwafor Emerges Winner
In a surprising twist, the Action Alliance (AA) candidate, Hon. Uzodinma Nwafor, has won the chairmanship election for Etche Local Government Area in the just-concluded local government polls in Rivers State. This result was announced moments ago, finalizing the tally for the highly anticipated race in Etche.
Hon. Nwafor’s victory comes as the Action People’s Party (APP) secured 22 out of the 23 chairmanship positions across the state, making Etche the only local government area where a different party prevailed.
Hon. Nwafor is currently seated alongside other chairmen-elect as the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC) prepares to issue certificates of return to the winners in a ceremony taking place shortly.
