Jose Peseiro Reveals Super Eagles’ 25-Man Squad for AFCON 2023
Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro has officially disclosed the 25-man squad that will represent Nigeria in the upcoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d’Ivoire.
The much-anticipated list was unveiled via the official Super Eagles X handle on Friday, generating excitement among fans.

The much-anticipated AFCON finals are scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 11, 2024. The Super Eagles find themselves in Group A alongside hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, and Guinea Bissau. Jose Peseiro’s squad will kick off their campaign against Equatorial Guinea at the Alssanne Quattara Stadium, Ebimpe, Abidjan, on Sunday, January 14.
