Joe Igbokwe Acknowledges Only Two ‘Real Men’ in Coalition Against Tinubu

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain Joe Igbokwe has downplayed the credibility of the recently proposed opposition coalition aiming to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. In a post shared on his official Facebook page on Wednesday, Igbokwe declared that the group contains only “one or two real men,” while dismissing the rest as irrelevant.

Igbokwe, a vocal supporter of the Tinubu administration, criticized the coalition members, saying they bring no substantial value or influence. “When I look at the composition of the so-called coalition I see one or two that are real men. Other members are unknown. They have nothing to bring to the table—no skill, no energy, no resources, no charisma, no history, no character,” he wrote.

Among the prominent figures reportedly involved in the coalition are former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar and former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi. Also linked to the alliance are former Kaduna State governor Nasir El-Rufai and former Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi.

Igbokwe has previously praised El-Rufai, claiming the former governor is more intelligent and capable than any of President Tinubu’s current appointees.
