“Jim Ovia Appointed Chairman of Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) by President Tinubu”
President Bola Tinubu has given the thumbs up to Jim Ovia, a well-known banker and entrepreneur, to lead the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as its Chairman.
Ovia, the brain behind one of Nigeria’s top banks, is hailed as a respected figure in the business world, known for his efforts in supporting and empowering young Nigerians.
With degrees from Harvard Business School and the University of Louisiana under his belt, Ovia is all set to tackle the challenges of higher education funding head-on.
The National Student Loan Programme aims to ensure sustainable higher education and skill development for all Nigerian students and youths. With Ovia at the helm, the focus is on ensuring that no student’s dreams are dashed due to financial constraints.
President Tinubu is confident that Ovia’s vast experience and expertise will drive the vision of providing equal access to education and skills for all Nigerian youths, regardless of their background.
