Iyorchia Ayu emerges PDP’s consensus candidate for National Championship position
Former Senate President, Dr Iyorchia Ayu has emerged as the consensus National Chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, ahead of its October 31 National Elective Convention.
This is coming after leaders of the Party from the North Central zone having unanimously adopted the former Senate President, as its consensus candidate for the position of national chairmanship.
This also comes after series of meetings by PDP Northern Stakeholders in Abuja.
You would recall that a total of five candidates whose identity were not made public had signified their interest for the Chairmanship position.
