“It’s Unfair to Be Married to Just One Woman” – RMD
Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) has sparked conversation with his candid thoughts on polygamy during a recent appearance on the show *Curiosity Made Me Ask*. The screen legend responded to a question about his popularity among women by expressing that he believes it is unfair for a man to be married to just one woman.
When asked by host Bae U Barbie if he thinks it’s fair to be committed to only one woman given how many women are attracted to him, RMD responded, “I don’t, but I think it is unfair to be married to just one woman. My father had five [wives].”
The actor, who is currently married to television personality Jumobi Adegbesan, made the statement while reflecting on his family background and cultural upbringing. RMD and Jumobi tied the knot following the tragic loss of his first wife, renowned talk show host May Ellen ‘MEE’ Mofe-Damijo, in 1996.
