Iran Claims Conclusive Retaliation in Conflict with Israel, Warns U.S. to Stay Away
Iran’s mission to the United Nations has released a statement concerning its military action against Israel, claiming the matter has now been concluded following the launch of over 100 missile-laden drones towards Israel on Saturday.
In defense of the attack, the mission stated that it was in response to what they called Israel’s aggression against their diplomatic premises in Damascus. The statement, shared on the platform X, asserted that the military action was justified and necessary under Article 51 of the UN Charter, which pertains to legitimate self-defense.
Iran has warned that any further action by Israel would provoke an even stronger response, emphasizing that the U.S. should stay out of the conflict. The statement describes the situation as a conflict between Iran and the “rogue Israeli regime” and stresses the importance of the U.S. not intervening.
