“I’m the Greatest Pastor in the World,” Odumeje Says as He Challenges Fellow Clerics to Miracle Contest
Anambra cleric Chukwuemeka Cyril Ohanaemere, known widely as Prophet Odumeje, has stirred intense reactions after declaring himself “the greatest pastor in the world” and inviting other religious leaders to face him in a public miracle contest.
During a service with his congregation, Odumeje asserted that no pastor matches his spiritual abilities. “All the pastors in the world know that I am the greatest. Nobody reaches me,” he said, addressing the crowd. He went on to challenge any cleric who doubts him to meet him for what he called a direct test of supernatural power. “If you say I am not greater than you, come out for a challenge. Come out, let us do miracles,” he declared. “I have extra power for competition. I have extra power for ‘incase of incasity’.”
His remarks spread quickly across social media, drawing mixed reactions from viewers who questioned both his claims and the purpose of the challenge. Some criticised the tone of his statements, while others defended his right to express confidence in his ministry.
The cleric, known for his theatrical style and bold declarations, has not yet indicated whether any pastor has responded to his call for a public contest.
