“Ignore Opposition Noise, Support Tinubu’s Re-Election” – Southeast Youth Leaders Urge Nigerians
The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has urged Nigerians to dismiss criticisms from opposition parties and rally behind President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027. Speaking on behalf of the group, COSEYL President General Comrade Goodluck Ibem expressed strong confidence in Tinubu’s leadership, stating that the President has demonstrated a clear commitment to driving national development and addressing Nigeria’s key challenges.
Ibem emphasized that President Tinubu’s policies—particularly in economic reform, infrastructure, and social welfare—have laid a solid foundation for the country’s progress. He argued that the opposition lacks viable alternatives and had failed to make significant strides when previously in power.
Highlighting the group’s dedication to youth empowerment, Ibem announced that COSEYL will organize a series of rallies across the Southeast to mobilize support for Tinubu’s second term. A flagship event is scheduled to take place on July 18, 2025, in Abia State, serving as a public endorsement of the President’s continued leadership.
The group encouraged Southeast youth to participate actively in the upcoming rally, which aims to showcase their unity and belief in Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria. Further details about the event, including guest speakers and logistics, will be shared in the coming weeks.
COSEYL called on all Nigerians, especially young people, to look beyond partisan politics and support a leader they describe as visionary, resilient, and committed to national progress.
