Wynne has vehemently denied these allegations, claiming he was not formally invited by the police to address the charges against him. He emphasized that his decision not to return is driven by a genuine fear that he would not survive if subjected to similar treatment.

Wynne, 70, has warned that his potential surrender could result in dire consequences, asserting that his primary concern is his survival rather than just fear of torture.
