Identity of Woman Seen in Private Jet Video with Oshiomhole Revealed

A viral video showing Senator Adams Oshiomhole aboard a private jet with a woman has continued to generate reactions online, as new details emerge about the identity of the woman in the footage.

According to Sahara Reporters, the woman is a South African lifestyle influencer and adult content creator known on TikTok as @leshaandagama and previously on Instagram as @leshaan_dagama. On her profile, she described herself as a “professional sugar baby” and cautioned “broke people” to stay away.

The clip, which began circulating widely earlier this week, shows the senator rubbing the woman’s foot while seated inside the luxury aircraft. Early claims on social media suggested the woman was Oshiomhole’s wife, Iara Fortes, a Cape Verdean lawyer and former model. However, Sahara Reporters reports that checks contradict that claim and confirm the woman is not his spouse.

The development has intensified conversations on social media, with many Nigerians debating the optics of a serving senator appearing in such a setting at a time of economic difficulty for many citizens.

Oshiomhole’s career has spanned labour activism and partisan politics. He started as a textile worker and became general secretary of the National Union of Textile, Garment and Tailoring Workers of Nigeria in 1982. Following Nigeria’s return to democracy, he rose to national prominence as president of the Nigeria Labour Congress, leading nationwide protests over fuel price increases.

He later entered electoral politics, contesting the Edo State governorship in 2007. After legal challenges over the election outcome, appellate courts overturned the initial result in 2008 and declared him governor. He was re-elected in 2012 and served until 2016.

In 2018, he became national chairman of the All Progressives Congress before internal party disputes and court rulings ended his tenure. He returned to elective office in 2023 after winning the Edo North senatorial seat.

In June 2025, Oshiomhole was also involved in a public dispute at Murtala Muhammed Airport following a missed flight, an incident later addressed in a statement by Air Peace condemning disruptive conduct at its terminal.
