Oshiomhole Denies Private Jet Footage as AI-Generated, South African Influencer Leshaan Dagama Responds

Edo North Senator Adams Oshiomhole has dismissed a viral video showing a man resembling him massaging a woman’s feet aboard a private jet, calling it artificially generated.

The clip, which circulated widely on Tuesday, sparked speculation about the woman’s identity. Early reports suggested she was Oshiomhole’s wife, Lara Fortes, but she was later identified as Leshaan Dagama, a South African lifestyle influencer and adult content creator.

In a statement released through his media aide, Oseni Momodu, the 73-year-old senator described the video as a “poorly crafted and edited fake AI video” intended to malign his reputation.

“The video was clearly doctored by malicious actors,” the statement read. “We urge the public and media to disregard its content in totality. Such acts constitute criminal cyberbullying and are a needless attack on Senator Oshiomhole’s character.”

Oshiomhole’s office said it will investigate the source and publisher of the footage, while also emphasizing the need for stricter social media regulation to curb AI-based misinformation.

Responding to the controversy on her Instagram Story, Dagama addressed Nigerians who had sent her angry messages. “Your senator is the problem, go be mad at him, not me,” she wrote, clarifying her stance amid the backlash.
