“I Won’t Allow President Bola Tinubu to Lose Abia Again” – Orji Uzor Kalu
Former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure a victory in Abia State during the 2027 presidential election. Kalu made this assertion at an Abia APC stakeholders’ meeting he hosted at his private residence in Abuja on Thursday.
Kalu emphasized his commitment to rebuilding and strengthening the APC in Abia, urging party members to unite and forgive past grievances to ensure the party’s success. He made it clear that there is no faction within the Abia chapter of the APC and pledged his dedication to supporting Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda for the betterment of all Nigerians.
The former governor further stated that he would not allow Tinubu to lose in Abia again. He expressed his determination to ensure the party’s success, stating, “I won’t be around, and it happens. So we must unite and forgive ourselves.” Kalu also called for mutual forgiveness, extending an apology to anyone he may have offended in the past.
The meeting, aimed at fostering unity and strengthening the APC in Abia, was attended by several key figures, including the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Donatus Nwankpa, and other prominent members of the Abia APC.
