I Was Offered N5 Billion to Move Motion for Fubara’s Impeachment – Ehie

Speaking during an interview on Channels Television, Ehie claimed to have evidence of the bribery attempt stored on his phone. He stated that in early October 2023, he was approached with the offer but refused to take part in the alleged scheme. The lawmakers also moved to impeach Governor Fubara, citing allegations of abuse of power and gross misconduct.

However, the impeachment attempt was ultimately thwarted by supporters of the governor, preventing further action against him.
