Hunger Protest: Nigerians Cursing Tinubu Will Be Cursed, Declares Asari Dokubo
In a recent statement, ex-Niger Delta militant Asari Dokubo urged Nigerians to pray for President Bola Tinubu instead of cursing him, warning that those who do so will bring curses upon themselves.
As the nation braced for a potential nationwide #EndBadGovernance protest, Minister of Women Affairs Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye led a rally over the weekend, encouraging women to avoid participating in civil action.
Addressing the attendees, Dokubo emphasized the importance of supporting the president during these challenging times. “The president must be supported at this moment to save this country. People should set politics aside,” he stated.
He further implored, “Those of you who can pray, pray for Mr. President. Every religion says, ‘pray for your leaders.’ When you are cursing the president, he is in Aso Rock eating government food. The curse will not get to him. It would get to you first.”
