How 44-Year-Old Man Was Hospitalised After Suffering Paralysis During ‘Nice Time’ With Married Woman in Hotel
A 44-year-old man, Rafiu Lasisi, has been hospitalised after he reportedly suffered sudden paralysis during a private encounter with a married woman at a hotel in the Arigbajo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to a police report, the incident occurred on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Winnas Hotel and Suites. Lasisi had checked into the hotel with a woman identified as Latifat Shobowale, a married woman and mother of three. The two reportedly booked the room for a short stay.
About thirty minutes into their time together, and after what was described as one round of sexual intercourse, Shobowale raised an alarm. She claimed Lasisi was unable to stand up or move properly to clean himself in the bathroom. His left arm and leg had reportedly become paralysed.
The hotel owner, Chief Eze Williams Okonko, who is also the Eze Ndigbo of the area, reported the incident to the police. Officers responded promptly and found Lasisi in a weakened state. He was rushed to the State Hospital for immediate care and later referred to the Federal Medical Centre in Abeokuta for advanced treatment.
Shobowale was taken into custody for questioning as investigations began into the circumstances surrounding the incident. Police have confirmed that the case remains under investigation and further updates will be provided as new developments emerge.
