Heavy Security Presence As Presidential Election Tribunal Begins Sitting In Abuja
As expected, there is heavy security presence at the Abuja division of the Court of Appeal, ahead of the Presidential Election Petition tribunal sitting scheduled to commence today May 8, 2023.
According to the case list released by the registry, the first petition to be heard is that of the Action Alliance and it’s candidate Solomon Okanigbuan, followed by that of Action People’s Party, then that of Peter Obi and his Labour Party, thereafter, the Allied Peoples Movement and lastly that of Atiku Abubakar and PDP.
All parties are challenging the outcome of the February 25, 2023 Presidential Elections that produced Bola Tinubu as the President-Elect.
