Governor Soludo’s Road Infrastructure Earns Praise from Anambra Lawmaker

In a resounding show of appreciation, the Anambra State House of Assembly has lauded Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his unwavering commitment to advancing road infrastructure across the Anambra South Senatorial zone. During a recent inspection tour of ongoing road projects within the zone, Speaker Hon Somtochukwu Udeze and fellow lawmakers commended the governor for his dedication to quality construction.

The inspected roads included the Okpunoeze-Nnewi Hotel road, Ufuma-Awa-Ndiukwyenu-Amannsea Road, Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugwu Umuonyia Road, Ikenga-Igboukwu road, Ekwulobia flyover and bus terminal, and the Ajali-Akpu-Nawfija-Ufuma-Ogbunka road, among others.

Speaker Udeze expressed satisfaction with the superior quality of the roads and praised Governor Soludo for not only meeting but surpassing expectations. He urged residents to rally behind the state government, acknowledging its demonstrated capability to elevate the deplorable state of road infrastructure to an admirable standard.

Lawmakers on the inspection team, including Mr. Paul Obu, Mr. Tony Moubike, Mr. Anayo Okpalaeke, Mr. Augustine Ike, Mr. Nonso Atuchukwu, Mr. Jude Ngobili, and Mr. Justice Azuka, emphasized the transformative impact of these roads on their constituents. They noted the potential benefits, such as facilitating the evaluation of agricultural produce and ensuring smoother traffic flow.

Commending Governor Soludo for his commitment to action, the lawmakers recounted how past administrations had played politics with critical projects like the Okpunoeze-Nnewi Hotel road until Governor Soludo took decisive action, earning the trust of the people.

While praising the governor’s benevolence in road construction, Ngobili reminded Governor Soludo of his promise to extend the reach of road construction projects to Ihiala local government area, highlighting the expectations and optimism within the State
