Governor Hope Uzodinma declares dusk to dawn curfew after soldiers shoot citizens in Orlu
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in 9 local government areas in Orlu Zone to check rising insecurity in the area, the LGs’ are Orlu, Oru East, Isu, Nwangele, Njiaba, Ideato North, Ideato South, Nkwere and Orsu after clashes between the newly established Eastern Security Network and the Nigerian Army.
Unconfirmed reports say the issue started a few days ago after a civilian clashed with a military man at a drinking joint.
