Governor Ganduje Appoints 6 Governors to Oversee APC Operations Across Zones

In a strategic move aimed at enhancing coordination within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the party, has announced the formation of a six-member panel of governors. These governors will oversee and coordinate the party’s activities in the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.

During the inauguration ceremony held in Abuja, Ganduje emphasized the pivotal role of the newly appointed governors. Their primary task will be to facilitate regular interactions between governors within their respective zones and the leadership of the APC. Additionally, they are entrusted with the responsibility of initiating a process of genuine reconciliation among aggrieved party members within the zones.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has been designated to oversee APC operations in the South-west, while Senator Hope Uzodinma of Imo State will lead efforts in the South East. In the South-South region, the responsibility falls to Governor Bassey Otu of Cross Rivers State, while Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State will oversee operations in the North Central.

Furthermore, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has been tasked with coordinating activities in the North-East, and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State will oversee operations in the North-West.

The committee’s mandate includes mobilizing governors within their zones to actively participate in party activities both within and outside their regions. This initiative underscores the party’s commitment to strengthening its organizational structure and fostering unity among its members nationwide.
