Full List: Tinubu Reassigns Key Cabinet Positions: Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye Replaced by Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, Doris Anite Demoted

 

 

President Bola Tinubu has carried out a significant reshuffle in his cabinet, reassigning portfolios to ten ministers and making strategic adjustments in key ministries. In a notable move, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, the Minister of Women Affairs, has been replaced by Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim. Additionally, Doris Uzoka-Anite, previously Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, has been demoted to Minister of State for Finance.

 

The reshuffling sees several ministers shifting roles, with the following key changes:

 

Yusuf Tanko Sununu moves from Minister of State for Education to Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.

Morufu Olatunji Alausa, previously Minister of State for Health, takes on the role of Minister of Education.

Bello Muhammad Goronyo is now Minister of State for Works, shifting from Water Resources and Sanitation.

Abubakar Eshiokpekha Momoh transitions from Minister of Niger Delta Development to Minister of Regional Development.

Uba Maigari Ahmadu takes on the position of Minister of State for Regional Development, previously overseeing Steel Development.

John Owan Enoh moves to Minister of State for Trade and Investment from his former role as Minister of Sports Development.

Ayodele Olawande, previously Minister of State for Youth Development, has been elevated to the full role of Minister for Youth Development.

Iziaq Adekunle Salako moves from Minister of State for Environment to Minister of State for Health.
