Full List: Ibas Appoints 11 New Permanent Secretaries in Rivers State
Rivers State Administrator, Vice-Admiral (rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ibas, has approved the appointment of 11 new Permanent Secretaries into the state civil service.
The announcement was made in an official statement released by the Acting Head of Service, Dr. Inyingi Brown, on Tuesday. According to the statement, the appointments are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the administrative machinery of government and enhance service delivery in the state.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:
1. Imaonyani Roselin Ephraim-George
2. Dr. Mina T. Ikuru
3. Dabite Sokari George
4. Soibitein Duke Harry
5. Lauretta Davies Dimkpa
6. Uche R. Ideozu
7. Chimenum Mpi
8. Jeremiah Egwu
9. Nicholas Iminabo Wokoma
10. Vera Sam Dike
11. Aleruchi Akani
The date for the swearing-in ceremony will be announced in due course, the statement added.
Vice-Admiral Ibas, who was appointed as the Rivers State Administrator in 2024, has emphasized reforms in governance and public service as key priorities under his leadership.
