Former NURTW boss “Arikuyeri” killed in faction clash
Sulaimon Onaolapo Lawal popularly known as “Arikuyeri” a top operative of the Lagos State Park Management Committee has been reported killed in a clash of factions of the union.
Arikuyeri was the branch Chairman of the Lagos State Park Management Committee in Mile 12. He was formerly a member of the NURTW,”
Eyewitness reports confirmed that there was a battle over supremacy in motor parks around the Mile 12 area on Sunday.
The clash of supremacy resulted in an exchange of gunfire between the warring factions.
It was reported that “Arikuyeri” was macheted to death by assailants.
The police spokesperson in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the tragic incident. He however said normalcy has been restored by security operatives.
