Force PRO DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi Transferred to Delta State Command

 

Force Public Relations Officer DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has been transferred to the Delta State Command, where he will serve as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations.

 

Adejobi was recently promoted from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). He first assumed a leadership role on 16th February 2022 as a Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP), taking over from then CP Frank Mba, and was later confirmed by former Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali.

 

With decades of experience in police operations, public relations, and law enforcement advocacy, DCP Adejobi has held key positions including Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Ogun State Command from 2008 to 2016, PPRO at Zone 2 Headquarters, Onikan, Lagos in 2016, and PPRO of Lagos State Police Command from September 2020 to August 2021.

 

A graduate of Archaeology and Geography (Combined Honours) from the University of Ibadan, he also holds a master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the same institution. Adejobi is an active member of professional bodies such as the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the International Public Relations Association (IPRA), the Pointman Leadership Institute, USA, the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), USA, and the Institute of Corporate Administration, Nigeria.
