Five Passengers Including Foreign Nationals Killed in Helicopter Crash
On Wednesday afternoon, five individuals, including four Chinese nationals, have reportedly lost their lives in a helicopter crash in Nepal. The helicopter, identified as the 9N-AJD chopper operated by Air Dynasty, was piloted by Captain Arun Malla.
The flight departed from Kathmandu at 1:54 pm, destined for Syaprubesi in the Rasuwa district. Unfortunately, it never reached its intended destination.
Nepal police spokesperson, DIG Dan Bahadur Karki, confirmed the fatalities and reported that all five individuals aboard the helicopter perished in the crash.
Captain Arun Malla, known for his extensive experience navigating Nepal’s challenging terrain, was among the deceased. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash to understand the factors leading to this tragic event.
