FG Reacts to Moscow Concert Shooting
In the wake of the tragic terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow, the Federal Government has extended its heartfelt condolences to Russia. The assailants, armed with automatic weapons, unleashed chaos upon concert-goers, even resorting to grenade attacks before fleeing the scene.
According to Russia’s Investigative Committee, the death toll has reached a devastating 115, with fears that this number may rise as more victims are accounted for.
The Islamic State (ISIS) has claimed responsibility for this heinous act, further underscoring the global threat posed by such extremist groups.
Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed the government’s sympathy and solidarity with Russia in a statement released today. “We convey our deepest condolences to the people and government of the Russian Federation on the tragic attack carried out at the Crocus Concert Hall in Moscow,” the statement reads. “The attack resulted in the death of innocent people and injuries to more than a hundred others. We also pray for the quick recovery of those injured. At this challenging time, we stand in brotherhood with the government and the Russian Federation.”
The Federal Government’s message of support extends to Russian President Vladimir Putin, emphasizing a shared commitment to combatting terrorism and promoting peace and stability on a global scale.
