FG Donates 20 Trucks of Rice to States, FCT
In a decisive move aimed at alleviating food insecurity, the Federal Government has generously donated 20 trucks of rice to each of the 36 state governors and the Federal Capital Territory. The distribution is intended to reach the most vulnerable segments of the population across Nigeria.
Speaking to reporters at the State House following Monday’s Federal Executive Council meeting, Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, underscored the administration’s commitment to ensuring that every Nigerian has access to essential food supplies. He emphasized that this initiative reflects the government’s proactive approach in addressing pressing humanitarian needs nationwide.
