Father Mbaka Issues Dire Warning of Impending Hunger Crisis in Nigeria, Challenges President Tinubu
In a compelling homily delivered on Sunday, Father Ejike Mbaka, the Spiritual Director of Adoration Ministry Nigeria (AMEN), cautioned President Bola Tinubu about the escalating issues of insecurity and hardship in Nigeria.
Father Mbaka, renowned for his outspoken stance on national matters, emphasized the imminent threat of a hunger wave that could devastate the country. He highlighted the challenges faced by farmers, citing incidents where armed herdsmen attacked and killed farmers, making agriculture perilous.
The cleric expressed concern over the government’s handling of the oil sector, urging President Tinubu to address corruption and dismantle influential cabals. Father Mbaka urged the president to take decisive action, emphasizing that the well-being of Nigerians was at stake.
In a pointed message to President Tinubu, Father Mbaka asserted, “Mr President, you can do it; to fix Nigeria is not difficult if the leader has the willpower.” He questioned the lack of progress in refurbishing refineries and called for accountability in the oil sector.
The clergyman also drew attention to the challenges faced by various sectors, including education, healthcare, and security. He lamented the plight of teachers, doctors, police, and military personnel, highlighting the broken hearts and struggles endured by their families.
Father Mbaka urged President Tinubu to leverage his wealth and position to bring about positive change. He encouraged policies that would empower and support the youth, envisioning a transformed Nigeria.
