Engr Eric Anyamene Calls for Unity, Compassion in Good Friday Message to Idemili Communities
From his country home in Obosi, Anambra State, the founder of the Eric Nnamdi Anyamene Foundation (ENAF), Engr Eric Anyamene, has issued a heartfelt Good Friday message to residents of Idemili North and Idemili South Local Government Areas, calling for unity, compassion, and renewed faith among the people.
In his message, the respected philanthropist and engineer reflected on the spiritual significance of Good Friday, describing it as a solemn reminder of sacrifice and unconditional love.
“Dear beloved Ndi Idemili, on this solemn occasion of Good Friday, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you all,” he stated.
He noted that the day commemorates the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which, according to him, should inspire deeper reflection on values that strengthen society.
“Today, we remember the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ—a day that embodies love, humility, and hope,” the message read. “His selfless act on the cross reminds us of the power of compassion, forgiveness, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.”
Engr Anyamene urged residents to use the season as an opportunity to promote peace and solidarity within their communities, stressing the importance of collective responsibility in building a better society.
“As we reflect on the meaning of this day, may we also find strength in unity, peace in our communities, and renewed faith in the journey ahead,” he said. “Let us continue to support one another, uphold the values that bind us, and remain steadfast in our collective pursuit of progress.”
He further expressed optimism that the season would bring spiritual and emotional renewal to families across Idemili.
“May this sacred season bring healing, blessings, and grace to every household in our constituency,” the message added. “Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful and reflective Good Friday.”
The ENAF founder, known for his philanthropic engagements and community development initiatives across Anambra State, reaffirmed his commitment to promoting social harmony and grassroots development through continued service and support for vulnerable groups.
