The Leader of the Unity Freedom group of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Lagos State, Engr Adedeji Doherty has commiserated with the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal, over the death of his elder brother, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello.
Muhammadu Bello was until his death the Wazirin Tambuwal and the eldest in the Governor’s family.
Governor Tambuwal had Personally announced the transition saying ” It is with sublime submission to the will of Allah (SWT) that I announce the death of my precious elder brother, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello, Wazirin Tambuwal”
“The Octogenarian who died on Tuesday evening has been the vizier of Tambuwal for the past 37years having succeeded our late beloved father, Alhaji Umar Waziri Usmanu.”
Engr Doherty in a released statement consoled Governor Tambuwal saying “We are all grieved by the huge loss of your elder brother, the Wazirin Tambuwal, Alhaji Muhammadu Bello, but we should all be consoled by the fact that whatever Allah gives or takes belongs to Him and everything is predestined by Him also.”
“We pray that Allah forgives his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdaus, Amin.”
“We sympathise with you my brother, my friend, the entire family and all the good people of Sokoto State over this loss.”
“May God grant you all the fortitude to bear the loss.”
Alhaji Muhammadu Bello has since been buried according to Islamic rites in Tambuwal Town in Sokoto State.
