#EndSars: Gov Sanwo-Olu presents N10m cheque each to families of slain policemen
In fulfilment of his pledge, the Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has presented a cheque of N10 million each to families of the six police officers killed in the State in the violence that followed the End SARS protests.
In a Town Hall meeting organised by the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, the state Governor presented the cheques to the wives and children of the slain officers.
He also announced scholarship awards to children of the deceased officers up to university level.
The late police officers are:
Assistant Superintendent of Police Yaro Edward
Inspector Ayodeji Erinfolami
Inspector Aderibigbe Adegbenro
Inspector Samson Ehibor
Inspector Igoche Cornelius and
Sergeant Bejide Abiodun
