Edo Poll: We Have Fulfilled Our Obligations of Ending Godfatherism in Niger Delta, Wike Declares
Rivers state Governor and the Chairman of the PDP National Campaign Council for Edo Governorship Election, Nyesom Wike, has said they have fulfilled their obligations of sending godfathers packing from the Niger Delta region.
The Governor in tweet on Sunday morning said first in Rivers state and now Edo, the reign of godfathers has ended in the region.

Edo state Governor and the candidate Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has maintained firm lead over his closest challenger, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Ize-Iyamu as results from the various local government areas in the state are being collated and announced by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
