Edo 2020: PDP pushes primaries forward as Obaseki picks form
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted its primary election for the the September 19, 2020 governorship election in Edo State to June 23, 2020.
The primary election was earlier slated for June 19 and 20, was shifted to allow the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, who just defected to the party from the All Progressives Congress (APC) to take part in the election.
Obaseki is expected to obtain nomination form today.
