Coronavirus: @AITLive exposes the unpreparedness of @NCDCgov in investigation
Nigerian media broadcaster AIT has exposed the unpreparedness of the National Centre for Disease Control NCDC.
In a series of phone calls to the advertised emergency number, the call centre handler after being told that someone was displaying all the Covid19 symptoms, simply told the caller that she should take the patient to any hospital.
She seemed to suggest that the centre cannot afford to waste test kits and said that the symptoms were also similar to Malaria and Typhoid symptoms. Please see video:
