Chikwendu Refutes Reconciliation Rumors with Fani-Kayode: “We Aren’t an Item”

Precious Chikwendu, the estranged wife of former Nigerian minister Femi Fani-Kayode, has publicly dismissed rumors suggesting that she has reconciled with her ex-husband. Despite recent sightings of the pair at public events and Chikwendu’s visits to Fani-Kayode’s home, the former beauty queen insists they are not back together.

Chikwendu and Fani-Kayode’s tumultuous relationship has been in the spotlight since their marriage fell apart in 2020. The couple has been embroiled in a bitter legal battle over the custody of their four children, with allegations of domestic violence and infidelity casting a shadow over the proceedings.

In 2022, rumors began circulating about a potential reconciliation when the couple was seen attending events together. However, in a recent Instagram story, which has since been deleted, Chikwendu made it clear that they were only in contact for the sake of their children and that they still live separately.

Chikwendu’s post conveyed her frustration with Fani-Kayode, whom she described as a “narcissist and toxic manipulator.” She claimed that Fani-Kayode wanted to maintain the facade of a happy couple, suggesting that he had reported her to the Nigerian president because she refused to play along with his narrative.

In her post, Chikwendu stated: “This narcissist is so pained. I am told I was reported to the president who you claim is coming after me this time for cutting off a toxic manipulator who thinks the world revolves around Aso drive. Just because I refused your fueling the narrative that we are an item.”

Despite the ongoing tension, Chikwendu remains hopeful that her children will eventually seek her out, stating, “I’m not even fighting anymore. They will come looking for me at the right time.”

This latest development indicates that the rift between Chikwendu and Fani-Kayode is far from resolved, and any rumors of reconciliation should be taken with a grain of salt.
