Casket Maker Dies After Collapsing While Visiting Female Friend in Abuja Brothel
A casket maker reportedly died over the weekend after collapsing at a brothel in Kubwa, a suburb of Abuja in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
According to Daily Trust, the incident occurred at a facility in Kukwaba that functions as both a guest house and a brothel. Neighbours said the man had gone there to meet a female friend when he suddenly collapsed.
The woman reportedly informed the hotel manager, who immediately contacted the Kubwa Police Division. Police officers rushed the man to Kubwa General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A visit to the deceased’s home near NNPC Junction in Kubwa revealed that his family was traveling with his remains to Cross River State for burial.
Police confirmed that the female friend, the hotel manager, and the hotel owner were questioned and later released. A source said the deceased’s family had requested the release of the body, which was granted.
When contacted, Kubwa Divisional Police Officer CSP Paul Lazarus said he was not yet aware of the incident but promised to investigate.
