Bwala Asserts: “Tinubu Can Govern from Anywhere in the World” Amid Leadership Vacuum Concerns

Daniel Bwala has sparked a contentious debate by asserting that President Bola Tinubu has the capacity to govern Nigeria from any corner of the globe. Bwala’s assertion comes amidst rising concerns over the absence of both Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima from the country, leaving a leadership vacuum at the helm of the nation’s affairs.

The absence of Vice President Shettima, who is currently attending the US-Africa Business Summit in the United States, has intensified scrutiny over the functionality of Nigeria’s leadership structure. He argued that President Tinubu possesses the constitutional authority to govern from anywhere in the world, irrespective of the physical presence of the Vice President. Drawing attention to the constitutional provisions outlined in Section 5, Bwala emphasized that the presidency transcends geographical constraints, likening the role to that of a strategist rather than a manual laborer.
