Atiku Signs Pact To Reserve 40% Appointments To Youths

Presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar on Thursday in Abuja signed a pact to dedicate 40% of appointments in his government to young Nigerians.
Atiku earlier at an event in Lagos pledged to appoint a Youth Minister under the age of 30 if elected. The former Vice President also assured that he will be succeeded in office by a younger leader at the expiration of his term in office.
In the course of the campaigns he reiterated his plans to provide opportunities for young people whom he identified as vital to national development.
Atiku is hoping to defeat incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari on Saturday’s general elections.
He is banking on his experience in the private sector to revive Nigeria’s ailing economy and attract foreign direct investments.
