Atiku Picks Okowa As Running Mate
PDP presidential aspirant for the 2023 elections Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has chosen Delta State Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
Okowa edged out Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike who was one of the favourites to emerge.
The failure of Wike may be linked to numerous uncontrollable outbursts and spats with his colleagues in Edo state and other PDP leaders.
62 year old soft spoken Okowa proved his political dexterity when he successfully installed a successor after going against his former boss and godfather of Delta politics James Ibori.
