Atiku Congratulates Wike For Overcoming ‘Anti-Democratic Forces Of Oppression And Dictatorship’

The Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 23, 2019 general elections, Atiku Abubakar has congratulated the governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike on his reelection.
In a tweet from his official Twitter handle, @atiku, the former vice president said he was delighted that Wike overcame the forces of dictatorship to emerge victorious in the Rivers state gubernatorial polls.
He wrote, “Congratulations Governor Nyesom Wike. It gives me much pleasure to see a political force such as yourself, overcome the anti-democratic forces of dictatorship and oppression. I am sure you will continue the pattern of good works for which you have become renowned. AA”.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday declared Wike of the PDP winner of the Rivers election having polled a total of 886,264 votes to lead other candidates in the Rivers governorship election.
