The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its official timetable for the 2027 general elections, fixing the cost of its presidential nomination form at N100 million.
According to the schedule, governorship forms will cost N50 million, while Senate, House of Representatives, and State House of Assembly tickets are priced at N20 million, N10 million, and N5 million respectively.
The timetable, dated April 11, 2026, was signed by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Arugungu. It outlines a sequence of activities aligned with the electoral calendar of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Under the plan, the APC will conduct presidential primaries on May 28 and 29, 2026, using a direct primary system across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The process begins with the issuance of notices to state chapters on April 20. Sale of nomination forms is scheduled to run from April 25 to May 2 at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, while submission closes on May 4.
Screening of presidential aspirants will take place on May 23, with results expected the following day. Appeals arising from the screening are set for May 25.
For other positions, screenings for governorship, National Assembly, and State Assembly aspirants will hold between May 9 and 10. Results will be published on May 13, with appeals scheduled for May 14.
Primary elections will follow in phases: State Houses of Assembly on May 16, governorship on May 18, House of Representatives on May 20, and Senate on May 22. Appeals for these contests are slated for May 24 and 25.
The timetable provides a structured roadmap as the ruling party prepares for the next electoral cycle.
