APC, PDP Members Troop to ADC as Party Begins Membership Registration in Benue

 

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Benue State has officially begun registering new members, drawing a significant wave of defectors from major political parties, including the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The registration exercise was flagged off on Friday by the party’s Interim Chairman in the state, Terngu Tsegba, at the ADC’s state secretariat in Makurdi.

 

The launch followed the inaugural meeting of the ADC’s newly formed State Committee and the 23 Local Government Chairmen. Addressing party officials and supporters, Tsegba urged local chairmen to take the party’s message to grassroots communities and welcome all who are willing to join the growing coalition movement. He encouraged Nigerians across the country to register with the ADC, describing the party as a people-focused platform determined to rescue the nation.

 

The ADC has recently gained national attention after being adopted by key opposition figures strategizing to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the next general elections. As of Saturday, July 12, the party has recorded an influx of thousands of new members, including politicians from the PDP, Labour Party, and discontented members of the ruling APC.
