Usman Ododo, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in the Kogi state gubernatorial race, emerged victorious at the polling unit of the incumbent governor, Yahaya Bello. At polling unit 11, Agassa, Okene LGA, Kogi, Ododo secured a commanding 840 votes, leaving his closest rivals, Murtala Ajaka of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Dino Melaye of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), without a single vote.
