Anambra Traditional Rulers Confer Chieftaincy Title on President Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has been honoured with the title of ‘Dike Si Mba’ by traditional rulers in Anambra State. The title, which means *‘Hero from another land’*, was conferred on him during his official visit to the state on Thursday. The ceremony took place in Awka and was led by the Chairman of the Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, Igwe Chidubem Iweka of Obosi, alongside other monarchs representing communities across the state.

President Tinubu arrived at Chinua Achebe International Airport in Umueri at about 12:15 pm and was received by Governor Chukwuma Soludo, Deputy Governor Onyeka Ibezim, and other top government officials. During the visit, the President inaugurated several landmark projects, including Anambra’s first-ever Government House—over three decades after the state’s creation. The visit also included the commissioning of other key infrastructure projects executed under Governor Soludo’s administration.

This marks President Tinubu’s second visit to the South-East region in 2025, following his trip to Enugu State in January.
