Anambra: Surge in Cult Killings, Kidnappings Sparks Public Outcry

An alarming wave of insecurity has gripped Anambra State, raising concerns among residents and sparking accusations of inadequate government response. Political figures and residents alike have condemned the escalating violence, placing blame on both law enforcement and governmental leadership. Former gubernatorial candidates like Mr Valentine Ozigbo and Mr Oseloka Obaze criticized Governor Soludo’s administration for failing to curb the rising insecurity, citing a string of kidnappings and unchecked criminal activities across the state.
