The National Leader Of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) CHIEF DAN Nwanyanwu has revealed that the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi is the one behind the political crisis in Rivers State which led to the suspension of the governorship and State Assembly elections in the state
Chief Nwanyanwu Revealed that His Party, the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) was contacted by Rotimi Amaechi about two days to the end of submission of candidates for elections to be used to cause crisis in Rivers State during the 2019 general election.
He said that he turned down the mouth watering offer by the Minister of Transport because he knows that such action will only lead to bloodbath in Rivers State, considering the fact that the state is predominantly a PDP state.
Dan Nwanyanwu Stated that it was after his party rejected the offer that Amaechi then Contracted the AAC for the same purpose, which led to the political crisis in Rivers State.
He made the revelation on a Live National TV Programme, Sunrise Daily on Channels Television.
He Revealed that the Minister already knew that there was no way he can unseat the Incumbent Governor in the State, Owing to the fact that the state Is the home Of PDP, and the Governor too is loved by his people because of his tremendous achievements within his first term in office.
He wondered why the Minister of Transportation had to deploy Army and other security agencies to kill and intimidate the people against their will, when he already knew that nobody in Rivers State can win Governor Nyesom Wike In a Free and fair election.
He said that National Leadership of APC has no hand in what hand in the evil being perpetuated in Rivers State by Rotimi Amaechi who he said is so desperate to install a stooge in Rivers State Government House.
