Again, Gunmen Kidnap Two Catholic Priests In Delta
Two Catholic priests have been kidnapped by gunmen along Agbara-Otor Road in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta state, South-South Nigeria.
The priests identified as Reverend Fathers Chochos Kunav and Raphael Ogigba, were kidnapped on Saturday night.
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe said, the operatives were still on the trail of the kidnappers to rescue the hostages unhurt.
According to him, Reverend Father Chochos was on a visit from Ibadan, Oyo State to Warri Catholic Diocese to see his colleague, Reverend Father Raphael. Both priests were on their way to Ughelli to visit another colleague when they were ambushed and whisked away by gunmen.
