Adam’s Oshiomhole rejected subsidy removal as labour leader – Atiku

Nigeria’s former vice president Atiku Abubakar has revealed that current APC Chairman Adams Oshiomhole vehemently rejected subsidy removal when he was vice president to President Olusegun Obasanjo between 1999 and 2007. Oshiomhole was president of the Nigeria Labour Congress.

In a follow up tweet he confirmed that despite the strong opposition their administration was able to achieve two levels of subsidy removal and totally deregulated AGO (diesel) before leaving office in 2007.
