Adamawa Guber Supplementary Poll: INEC Disowns REC, Suspends Collation Of Results
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has suspended collation of results of the governorship supplementary election in Adamawa State, saying the declaration of Aisha ‘Binani’ Dahiru, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner is null and void.
Yunusa Ari, the resident electoral commissioner of INEC in Adamawa, had declared Binani winner on Sunday, causing controversy.
